Just look ...Giant Sloppy Dog is such a sweetheart. Just look at that face! I'd rather have him decimating the armadillo population (not that we have an armadillo population) than the chicken population. We never could break our dear, sweet but dumb, 90 pound Max, a Bouvier, of chasing down and killing chickens. More than once I ran him down and tackled him as he ran down and tackled a chicken.
