Some of the people on one of my canning FB group is doing this. Uses for it is unlimited. Hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, (potato salad) I even put some in my chili last night: the jalapeno ones. So good. Some are using the syrup to grill pork and chicken. That is on my list. One even used bell peppers which BTW your look great. You know the old saying If life gives you lemons make lemonade. But h...Not canning a thing from the garden -- yet. But happy to report my pickling cukes are finally starting to grow and climb on their trellises. Yellow beans are just starting to flower. Green beans not yet. Shell peas formed but not filled out. Slicing cukes just flowering. Green pepper plants still taking turns one dying after the other. Zucchini finally flowered and is producing. Ate our second one (a good 4" long) in a salad tonight. Just call me S-L-O-W.<br /><br />P.S. Or use the cucumb...You could make cucumber relish. Or use the cucumbers to make raita or my moms favorite cukes and onions.
