Without sightseeing bus trips, computer games and the occasional new release from Netflix to entertain them, what do they have to look forward to other than eating? Oh, wait. It is breeding season . . . There is this one whether who is the size of a steer I have to body check occasionally though.<br />PioneerPreppyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09269878017447335944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-628662603932607754.post-80187357963100807932014-10-14T13:27:11.408-05:002014-10-14T13:27:11.408-05:00Ditto with sheep. I'd clip them to the fence, but I'm afraid they would take down my fencing. You are a brave woman, sashaying out there on your own, armed only with a size 9 and a grain bucket.Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12573143203599624833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-628662603932607754.post-62266545200388537672014-10-14T11:45:54.243-05:002014-10-14T11:45:54.243-05:00I had a friend actually get hurt BAD by her herd o...I had a friend actually get hurt BAD by her herd of goats going for the bucket she had in her hand. After that, she always carried a big stick. I had to get where I was tying up my goats whenever it was time to feed. It was kind of nice when the goats went to their spots on their own. A big pain though, when you introduced a new one to the herd and had to train them also.small farm girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01485314092236803411noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-628662603932607754.post-72253586841146949962014-10-14T09:48:21.541-05:002014-10-14T09:48:21.541-05:00I had to laugh, but only because I know of what yo...I had to laugh, but only because I know of what you speak! Goats are crazy about grain, like human kids and candy, with the same problem that what they crave isn't that good for either of them.
