In order to help you reach your goal of at least twelve letters a year, I'd like to offer a little package of twelve note cards along with a squishy-nubby pen:
So if you want to officially accept the Monthly Letter Writing Challenge and try your luck at winning the above cards, just post a comment on this page and I'll have my personal assistant draw two names at the stroke of Midnight on Sunday (or in all honesty, sometime Monday morning when Rhiannon wakes up and shuffles her PJ-wearing body out into the living room).
Good luck!
Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteI've accepted your challenge and hope Rhiannon selects my name.
It's curious how much I've been thinking about this little challenge of yours for the past couple of days. It seems there are more than a few pleasant things that have been swept by the wayside . . . pleasant and enjoyable things we used to do before technology ran us over and left us dashing madly around trying to "keep up." Maybe a good start to slowing down and enjoying life more would be to take pen (or pencil or crayon or chalk) and paper in hand and write a letter to someone we care about. Count me in!
ReplyDeleteI've taken up the challenge/pen, but won't include myself in the giveaway. We already know that Black Susan is totally in my corner and puts her intense hocus-pocus on the drawings. It wouldn't be fair to the rest.... :)
ReplyDeleteI actually already do write letters by hand, and now my 11 year-old is writing letters to her grandmother (my mother) asking questions, even though we live only 25 minutes apart. She plans to keep all the letters. Wonderful idea for a giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI accept your challenge and will write at least one letter each month.
ReplyDeleteI am taking your challenge but count me out of the drawing.... reason is that I have an awful habit of picking up little notecards at the craft store and hubby is seeing them pile up for no apparent purpose LOL... I will be using my stash!
ReplyDeleteI officially accept your challenge and would love a chance to win the note cards. I had already planned on getting some for my girls this month as they will also be doing it.
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking about this today...and here we are talking about it again. Musty be a sign.
ReplyDeleteEnter my name in the drawing, please. Thanks for the motivation !!
You know, timing is everything! I have been sending get well cards and encouragement cards for the past six months or so to friends who have had some life-altering occurances. I have really enjoyed that, since the advent of the internet my mail have devolved into bills and junk mail. Wonderful gift and idea!!
