Spring Sprung...

.....although not with much "oomph".  It's a cold 32 degrees outside right now and the rest of the week doesn't look like it's going to be much "springier" either.  But that's ok.  There's a bird chirping away on the back deck.  I got to pet Outside Kitty (albeit very briefly).  The sun is coming up over the hills.  And there will be cookies today!

Rhiannon & I will be baking some Spring Cookies this morning to take to one of the Cancer Support Houses this afternoon (and no doubt sampling them just to make sure that they are good enough for them!!) and maybe even putting up some Easter decorations.  Cold weather or not.

Enjoy the Vernal Equinox and enjoy your family!

  1. Its supposed to snow this weekend! Isn't that crazy! Hopefully it's the last of the cold weather.
Have a great day with Rhiannon making cookies, that sounds like fun!!!!!

  2. Have fun with making cookies! Don't eat them all, remember, you are making them for others!

Was the Outside Kitty petting a drive by? Sometimes if Charlotte is running past me, I can sneak my hand down low enough to get a drive by....

  3. Happy Spring, Krazo Acre Family! I think it's commendable that you and Rhiannon are willing to sacrifice a few cookies in the name of safety and quality.

  4. Happy Springtime to you also! March is doing it's usual thing here up near the tundra --- freezing, winding and giving us a bit of snow. We also have a nice (?) coating of ice underneath everything as Chicken Mama can attest to when she didn't quite make the curve in our driveway this morning after dropping off Tucker. No harm done. She just hiked back in, got a bucket of our ashes, a shovel and drove herself out.

  5. Even though Spring is officially here, it sure doesn't feel like it. A big Thank You to you and Rhiannon for making cookies for the Cancer Support House.

  6. Carolyn,

I've nomintated you on my blog for the Liebster Award, check it out:

  7. It snowed today at noon, cold & windy...

  8. Happy Spring to you guys and kudos for baking cookies for the Cancer Support Houses! :)

  9. Kelly, I WISH it were the end of the cold weather. Snowed about 4" last night. Ick.

Tiny, The petting was a "drive-by"! I LOVE that term :)

Susan, just want to make sure they get the best ones! Any non-uniform or those lacking enough sprinkles were eaten by Rhiannon :)

Mama Pea, if it makes you feel any better, we got a bunch of snow last night. Not happy about it either.

Sandy, I love the gals over there! And thanks for the award...I think :)

Nancy, oh, when will spring REALLY be here?

Candy, Happy Spring to you too!
